COVID 19 and Frequently Asked Questions:

Are you still taking bookings?

Yes, we are taking bookings for both studio and location sessions, we are limiting how many bookings we take at the moment so we can ensure your safety and ours. We are following government guidance on social distancing and will monitor government guidance and photography industry advice regularly.

As we are classed as a home Studio, we have to be extra careful and there will be some crossover with household restrictions to add to the mix. It is all about keeping you and your family safe as well as our own. The number of households and people involved must be considered for all photoshoots in our small studio and location within the guidelines of our local authority and we will advise on booking in whether a location or studio setting is suitable for you.

It is all about keeping you and your family safe.

Can I buy a Gift Voucher?

Perfect for those wanting to book a photoshoot but prefer to wait till things settle down again and something wonderful to look forward to.

Yes, you can still purchase Gift Vouchers online.

We will send your Gift Voucher and Welcome Letter to you digitally, via your email, for you to print from, share with or forward to your loved ones.

All Digital Gift Vouchers purchased  will automatically have an extended valid date of up to 18 months for your session to take place. This can be revised on an individual basis at our discretion for further extensions, in light of any more COVID 19 disruptions.

What measures are you taking with regard to COVID 19?

We have put safety measures in place. We do not fall in to the category of a high street retailer or a high street photography studio, as we are a ‘boutique’ home studio and we are by appointment only. Therefore,  we do have additional safety measures to consider and prepare for, to protect you and your family.

Our purpose built Studio is separate from our house with separate access. You will be asked to sanitise your hands on arrival and throughout your photoshoot and your temperature will be taken on arrival.

I will be wearing PPE, in the form of surgical masks  and we will be washing hands thouroughly and using alchohol based anti-bacterial hand sanitiser before and during your photoshoot. Hand sanitiser will be available at our entrance door and in the Studio for customer use. Signs will be displayed reminding you to social distance and to use hand sanitiser regularly.

Our business QR code is on display in the studio for you to scan using the NHS COVID-19 App on your mobile phone.

We will where possible, observe the 2m or 1m+ with appropriate PPE social distancing measures, advised by the government.

We will be thoroughly cleaning the Studio using recommended antibacterial/antiviral products, before and after your session, to help prevent the transmission of COVID 19.

We maintain the right to turn away clients with no refund or offer of an alternative session, if you’re unwell when you arrive at the studio or we noticed during the session that one of you is not well, this is to protect you, us and future clients. We will postpone a session if we are in isolation and have symptoms, or if any member of your family is showing symptoms and requires a period of isolation. Therefore, it is extremely important that you notify us as soon as anyone in your household displays symptoms or if you have been advised to self isolate for 14 days, because you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID19.

***Basic contact information will be shared with NHS Test and Trace, when requested.

All customers who visit our Studio, must come directly from their home, straight to the studio with no stopping off to visit other people or visit shops etc before you arrive.

IMPORTANT: You are choosing to visit our studio at your own risk during the COVID19 pandemic. If you or your family are in the high risk category, or have been shielding and would prefer to reschedule your photoshoot – for a time when the Coronavirus pandemic has calmed – then please do contact us at the studio as soon as possible.

We will be using antibacterial/antiviral spray, before and after your session, throughout Studio to help prevent the transmission of COVID 19.

What happens if COVID 19 affects my photoshoot going ahead?

If you would prefer to reschedule your session for a time when restrictions are further lifted and the pandemic has eased, please contact us at the studio.

If COVID 19 government guidelines and restrictions means we cannot carry out your photoshoot, we will offer you an alternative photoshoot session; the alternative session offered, may be on a different day of the week to that originally booked and will work with you to find a suitable alternative date that works for us all.

Please note – The timing of the photoshoot session offered as an alternative is entirely at our discretion.
